Bund


Considered as one of the emblem of Shanghai, the Bund, is a dock which is 1.6 km long along the Huangpu river, it is a magnificent vestige of the old Shanghai. Most of the monuments are banks, consulates, they are mostly built in a 1930 European style. This spot is an iconic walk path, wihich offers a view on the business district, Pudong. Bund is an Anglo-Indien word which means dock on muddy shore. At night, it provides a stunning dazzling show.
