Some history

       It was with Yu, the first emperor of the legendary dynasty of the Hia, that the historical era of China began to emerge slowly from the mists. This country is one of the fourth antic civilisation of the world, its written history goes back to more than 3000 years.

Chinese history can be divide in five periods :

​

-  -1600 before J.C., China is mostly describe by legends. 

​

- Antique China, from -1600 to -221 before J.C., the Great Wall is built to defend China against the Huns. Yellow become the imperial colour as Hiouan-Youan emperor, took the name of Hoang-Ti, which means the yellow emperor.

- Imperial China from -221 before J.C. to 1912 after J.C., China unification under Qin reign until the Qing dynasty. The capital is relocated from Nankin to Beijing in 1514. Opium war (1839 – 1842), at the end of the war the island of Hong-Kong is hand over to English.

- Républic of China, from 1912 to 1949. A civil war tears the country appart during several decades because of the empire abolition. 

​

- Modern China from 1949 to nowdays. The openess policy starts in 1978 which leads to a spectacular economic growth which sustain these days.
