Terracotta army

The terracotta army was created to escort the first emperor of China in his tomb. Considered as one of the grand archeological site of the world, the terracotta army is one of the major discovery of the XXth century. At that time emperors buried themselves with there living soldiers and maids. This terracotta army is a substitute to the human sacrifices.
Discover this amazing archeological spot in three pits.
The first one is the most impressive, 1.200 are exposed. Each soldier is different by their faces, clothes. You wil mostly see infantry and some chariots.
The second pit is way more little, you will mostly see archers and chariots.
The last pit hosts 68 statues where you can admire commanding officers.
There is also an exhibition of bronze chariots. Two of them are visible, and each one of them are pulled by four bronze horses. The chariots weigh 1200kg.
